How does the FMS work?
The FMS databases are linked to the National Animal Identification-Registration and Traceability System (NAITS); therefore, to access the platform, farms/holdings must be registered into the NAITS.
With regular data entry into the FMS, system automatically generates:
- Optimal feed rations for livestock to enhance productivity;
- Recommendations for lactation management and control;
- Guidance on managing the fertilization process;
- Recommendations for genetic selection in pedigree cattle;
- Calendar entries with automatic notifications for scheduled farm activities;
- Statistical reports;
- Treatment plans and preventive measures for disease management;
- Data required for certification – based on the system, the state will issue a breed certificate.
